After purchasing this new five-bedroom, four-bath home at the base of the ski mountain in Steamboat Springs, the owners wanted to find décor that would create clean lines and a simple, uncluttered design with sleek furniture. Our Stel House + Home interior design team designed the entryway, main living spaces, bedrooms and outdoor patio, sourcing furniture, artwork, decorative pillows and bedding throughout the home, as well as outside furnishings for the rooftop deck with direct views to Steamboat Resort.
With an open concept living area, the owners were looking for a fun and playful vibe, with durable furniture and earthy elements to keep the possibility of renting the home open. See how we designed each room of this Flat Top home from the ground up.

Earthy tones with clean lines create a mountain contemporary aesthetic with touches of boho throughout shown in the artwork and accessories.

The camel leather Eleanor Rigsby sofa with a custom wool mountain pillow in the living space, paired with a sleek fireplace, Ethnicraft lacquered tray, and green velvet XX swivel chairs allow for a cozy, mountain vibe and views of every direction.

The brown and caramel color palette mixed with textured duvet and accent pillows bring boho and modern chic to this mountain getaway.

Along with two bunk rooms downstairs and two queens on the main floor, the primary suit is on the same floor as the living area and kitchen. All bedrooms encompass simple, but modern touches such as the patterned throw pillows and minimalist lighting.

The rooftop deck also connects through the primary suite and includes a dining area featuring a Palecek table, hot tub and mountain views of Steamboat Resort.
